Local driver cited for two-vehicle crash in Quincy

A local driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash in Quincy Friday night around 7:25.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Theresa Redmon, 47, of Quincy, was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Miami Street north of Walnut Street when she failed to negotiate a curve, went left of center, and struck a southbound 2010 Acura TSX operated by Melanie Miller, 17, of Quincy.

No one was injured.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

Redmon was cited for driving left of center.

Her SUV had heavy damage.

Miller's car suffered moderate damage.
